LSC Nexus

Logistics · Supply chain · Transportation technology

Every shipment leaves a trail. We turn it into a decision.

LSC Nexus is a consultancy for organizations that move things: freight, fleets, people, inventory. We pair supply chain operations experience with data engineering, GIS and applied AI, then build the software that puts the answer in front of whoever has to make the call.

The firm

Most logistics problems aren't mysteries. The data to solve them already exists, scattered across exports, spreadsheets, GPS pings, invoices and inboxes.

Our job is to bring it together, ask the right questions, and leave behind something that keeps answering after we've gone.

Operators and engineers

The people who scope your project are the people who build it. No pitch team, no handoff, no junior bench learning on your budget.

Who we work with

Public agencies and their prime contractors, shippers and carriers, and 3PL/4PL operators.

How we're built

A consultancy led by three principals across operations, technology and governance; deliberately small, deliberately senior.

Capabilities

Six things we're genuinely good at.

Engagements usually combine two or three of these.

Supply chain

Logistics & supply chain consulting

Network and route design, inventory and warehouse flow, carrier and vendor evaluation, and 3PL/4PL coordination for organizations without an in-house logistics function.

  • Network design
  • 3PL/4PL
  • Procurement support
Mobility

Transportation & mobility analytics

Corridor and fleet performance, travel time and reliability, safety and crash analysis, and the evidence packages that justify an infrastructure or operations decision.

  • Corridor studies
  • Fleet telematics
  • Safety analysis
Data

Analytics & business intelligence

Pipelines that pull from the systems you already run, a warehouse that reconciles them, and dashboards people actually open on a Monday morning.

  • Data pipelines
  • Dashboards
  • KPI design
Spatial

GIS & location intelligence

Spatial analysis and mapping for siting, service areas, catchment and coverage, turning "where" into a defensible recommendation.

  • Spatial analysis
  • Facility siting
  • Web mapping
Applied AI

AI & machine learning

Demand and delay forecasting, document and invoice extraction, routing and scheduling optimization.

  • Forecasting
  • Document automation
  • Optimization
Software

Software & digital platforms

Custom web applications, client and partner portals, internal tools, cloud infrastructure and the websites that carry your brand, built, deployed and maintained.

  • Web apps
  • Portals
  • Cloud & hosting

How we work

Four stages, usually in this order.

Sequence matters here because we don't build before we can see your data, and we don't leave before you can run what we built.

Stage 1

Scope

One working session to name the decision you're trying to make and what it's currently costing you to make it blind. You get a written scope with a fixed price.

1-2 weeks

Stage 2

Instrument

We get to the data; connecting systems, cleaning exports, filling gaps with collection where none exists. Most projects stall here, so we handle it first.

2-4 weeks

Stage 3

Build

Analysis, model, dashboard or application shipped in short increments you review as they land, not revealed at the end.

4-12 weeks

Stage 4

Hand over

Documentation and training go to your team; source code and licensing are set in your contract. Stay on a support agreement if you want us; owe us nothing if you don't.

Ongoing, optional
